I am covered by the blood of Jesus. If you have believed on Him and asked Him for forgiveness, you are too! This is good news because Jesus doesn’t keep a record of our sins. God doesn’t have them tabulated on a list. They are covered by the blood of Jesus. If you believe that those sins are still counted against you, you are believing a lie straight from the pit of Hell. Renounce it. You are free from it. You are no longer marked by it. Instead you are sealed by the Holy Spirit and the mark of the Lamb, the seal of the King.
I need this reminder often, I need to meditate upon it and see myself as the princess that King Jesus bought and paid for on a hill, nailed to a cross, with His precious blood. Then I need to walk in it. I have been given a power beyond anything that my enemy can muster. I have been freed from my bondage. I need to walk in that freedom.
I need to break free from the spirits that bind my soul and live in the power and freedom that Jesus bought for me. I cannot go forth wasting what has been given to me. I have to walk in truth, shielded by my faith that God is bigger, that my heart is good, and that I can operate fully in His grace.
Do you need to give those spirits of bondage the boot too?
