I usually take Alton Browns advice when buying things for the kitchen, they need to multipurpose, not one job gadgets. However, there are a few things that just are one task doohickeys. There is a cooking gadget company that in my humble opinion, makes the most incredible tools. My new favorite is a peeler. A serrated peeler that is awesome for peeling even peaches! They have a ton of cool tools and all of them are well made and do the job they were designed for. I have seen a lot of them demonstrated and I constantly have to control the urge to buy them all!
The one I really want is the strawberry huller.
I don’t like wasting strawberries!! Of course in my juicer I thrown them in stem and all!
